In the first quarter of 2023, the top travel and local apps in Paraguay showcased varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and user engagement. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Airbnb experienced a notable decline in weekly downloads. Starting with 5.2K downloads in late December, it peaked at 8.5K in mid-January before steadily dropping to 1.5K by the end of March.

Mas Tarjeta Billetaje showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Downloads began at 2.2K in late December, climbing to 3.9K by the end of February and maintaining a steady rate around 3.0K in March.

Google Earth had relatively stable download numbers, starting at 1.8K in late December and fluctuating around the 2.0K mark for most of the quarter. The downloads saw a minor dip to 1.6K in mid-March but rebounded slightly to 1.7K by the end of the month.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw a significant drop in weekly downloads over the quarter. From a high of 2.6K in early January, the numbers declined to just over 800 by the end of March, indicating a downward trend in user acquisition.

Picap had a fluctuating performance in weekly downloads. After a low start with just 46 downloads in early January, the app saw a surge to 2.4K by late February. However, this was followed by another drop to 101 downloads by the end of March.
